Dog Grooming in Sheffield, Done Gently

Where every dog is treated like family.

Pearl & Paws is Lisa's grooming salon in Sheffield: one groomer, one dog at a time, and appointments that take as long as your dog needs. Puppies, worriers and seasoned regulars are all welcome.

Why it feels different

Nobody is on a conveyor belt here.

Some dogs bounce through the door and head straight for the table. Others hang back behind your legs. Before a brush comes out, Lisa spends time getting to know which kind of dog yours is, what they love, what they would rather avoid and anything you have noticed at home, and the groom is shaped around that.

Small details do a lot of the work: massage-style bathing, lavender-based products, and noise-reducing headbands so the dryer is less of an ordeal. Most appointments run two to three hours, which leaves room for breaks rather than pushing on.

Services

How We Can Help

From a first puppy visit to specialist hand stripping, each service is adjusted to your dog's breed, coat and lifestyle.

Meet Lisa

A nurse's eye, a groomer's hands.

Lisa first trained as a dog groomer more than twenty years ago, while on maternity leave. Family life took her down a different path, and she built a career in nursing, caring for people and developing the skills that shape how she cares for dogs today. The dream never really left her. She retrained, completed her Level 3 Dog Grooming Diploma, and grew Pearl & Paws from a home salon into the Groom Room.

Puppies & nervous dogs

Sometimes the best groom starts with simply saying hello.

A first visit doesn't have to be a full groom. Puppies, rescue dogs and anyone who finds the salon a bit much can come in for a meet and greet first, to sniff around, have a biscuit and meet Lisa with nothing else expected of them. Puppies can then move on to Pearly Puppy Pampers, which introduces brushing, bathing, the dryer and having their paws handled over several short sessions.

If a dog needs a break mid-groom, they get one. And if finishing a groom isn't in their best interest that day, Lisa will tell you honestly and suggest another way.
